A real family church
This is definitely a one of a kind church. I’ve been in and out of church my entire life. Not quite a year ago we decided to visit this church and felt welcome from day one. Calvin Jenkins preaches from the heart and brings real life into the church to better explain what the Bible truly means. I can’t brag enough on our new church home and thank you to the entire ACFC family for making us feel at home.

A Change For Christ, A Place To Worship with an Awesome Pastor and First Lady!!
A Change For Christ is a place to worship where the members are taught and fed the word of God. When Praises go up blessings come down. A Change For Christ is truly blessed. An awesome man of God was called to be the Pastor of such a great church. Pastor J answered his calling along with First Lady J a strong woman of God to be by his side. God already had in plan His task for Pastor J and First Lady J. They are a wonderful blessing to the church, community and the city of Alvarado, Texas. There is so much warmth and love surrounding the church from a wonderful congregation. The Church Moto: Change Is A Process Not An Event. The Church doors are always open where we enter to worship and depart to serve.

A Change For Christ (ACFC) is changing the City of Alvarado, not only with telling of God's goodness and their teachings of His Word, they are making a difference in the City with volunteering, giving back and participating in all City events! Pastor Calvin Jenkins Sr. & First Lady Rosita Jenkins (Lady J) teache change is a process not an event and they welcome you just as you are. Amazing church with amazing people!
This church is absolutely amazing! You feel right at home from the moment you walk through the doors. This church gets involved in the community, supports the local businesses, impacts the youth and really gets involved inside and outaide the church! I love being a part of this church! Pastor Jenkins helps so many people and is relatable and very approachable! Simply an amazing church with amazing people!
